The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.5% to 25,822.15.
The Nasdaq was up 0.5% to 7,705.52.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was up 1.1 % to 2.42%.
The price of gold rose 0.4% to $1,300.
The price of oil was up 1.3% to $60.04 a barrel.
HEALTHCARE
The Ensign Group Inc. (Nasdaq: ENSG) in Mission Viejo was up 3.8% to $51.63 with a market cap of $2.7 billion. The S&P 500 Health Care Index also climbed today 0.26%. Shares of the company, which runs assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, are up 35% this year.
SERVICES
Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) was down 4.4% to $3.05 with a market cap of $621 million. Shares of the company, which runs natural gas fueling stations for fleets of taxis, buses and other vehicles, are still up 37% since March 12 when it reported fourth quarter results.
