TECHNOLOGY
Technology companies, like Irvine-based Skyworks Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: SWKS), led losses on Monday. The chipmaker’s shares declined 2.8% to $80.31 and a $14 billion market cap.
HEALTHCARE
Newport Beach-based Evolus Inc. (Nasdaq: EOLS) fell 7.5% to $22.22 and a $606 million market cap. Shares for the aesthetics medicine company, which received regulatory approval last month to sell a rival to Allergan PLC’s Botox, have dropped 16% in the past week following release of its fourth quarter results and publication of a research paper.
Irvine-based Urovant Sciences Ltd. (Nasdaq: UROV) dropped 7.3% to $10.45 and a $317 million market cap. Shares for the clinical stage biopharma company have fallen 25% since last week when it reported that its drug vibegron failed to clearly outperform a generic.
