TECHNOLOGY
Smith Micro Software Inc. (Nasdaq: SMSI) in Aliso Viejo was up 30% to $2.42 and a $78 million market cap. The mobile software maker yesterday reported fourth quarter revenue climbed 30% to $7.4 million and it swung to an adjusted profit of 3 cents a share compared with a loss of 5 cents a year earlier.
CANNABIS
Irvine-based Terra Tech Corp. (OTC: TRTC) was up 10% to $1.17 and a $109 million market cap on daily volume 37% above its average. Shares in the provider of edible herbs to retail stores and operator of cannabis dispensaries have about doubled this year. The company is scheduled to report earnings today after markets close.
