Irvine-based Edwards Lifesciences Corp. was up 7% to $89.56 and a $19.2 billion market cap. The heart valve maker projected 2017 sales of $3 billion to $3.4 billion, up at least 10% year-over-year, and estimated earnings per share next year of $3.30 to $3.45.
REAL ESTATE
Irvine-based Tri Pointe Group Inc. was up 5.8% to $13.31 and a $2.1 billion market cap on moderate volume. The company designs, builds and sells single-family homes.
