HEALTHCARE
Tustin-based Peregrine Pharmaceuticals Inc. was up 13.8% to 43 cents and a $105 million market cap. The company, which is testing a cancer treatment drug called Bavituximab, reported a loss of $12.4 million in its most recent quarter, a 20% improvement over a loss of $15 million in the same period last year.
Irvine-based NuGene International Inc. was up 29.6% to 70 cents and a $28 million market cap on higher-than-average volume. The company makes skin- and hair-care products.
Costa Mesa-based Nemus Bioscience Inc. was down 12% to 50 cents and a $10 million market cap on higher-than-average volume. Nemus is a pre-clinical stage developer of cannabis-based products.

Mission Viejo-based Cloud Security Corp. was down 14.6% to $2.05 and a $29 million market cap on higher-than-average volume.
