Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average, and Nasdaq were flat at 3,010.69, 27,163.79 and 8,187.47 respectively.

Crude oil was up 0.5% to $58.38 a barrel.

The price of gold fell 0.6% to $1,507.

The yield on a 10-Year Bond fell 0.8% to 1.77%.

REAL ESTATE

Foundation Building Materials Inc. (NYSE: FBM) fell 10% to $17.09 a share and a $736 million market cap. The Santa Ana-based company, a distributor of construction materials, said its largest shareholder, an affiliate of Lone Star Fund IX, intends to sell 4.75 million shares in a secondary offering and will receive all the proceeds. The 52-week high is just over $19 a share.

HEALTHCARE

Endologix inc. (Nasdaq: ELGX) fell 7.3% to $3.95 a share and a $70 million market cap. Shares of the Irvine-based company, which makes medical devices, have declined about 82% since a 52-week high last October. The company’s revenue has been falling as it restructures its units.
