OC Auto Show Cancelled on Growing COVID Delta Variant Concerns

Organizers for the Orange County Auto Show said they are cancelling the October event amid the rise in COVID-19 Delta variant cases.

The automotive event had originally been slated for Oct. 7-10 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The show is owned by the Orange County Automobile Dealers Association. Steve Freeman Events produces the auto show, which is now expected to make its return next year.

“At this time, circumstances have changed once again, making it more difficult to create an event at the high standard that we, our exhibitors and guests expect,” Orange County Auto Show Director John Sackrison said in a statement announcing the update. “The COVID pandemic has challenged Orange County, the country and the entire world, but we know that the Orange County Auto Show will rebound and be bigger and better when we return in 2022.”
