NB Firms Partner on Golf

Preferred Hotel Group and Private Club Marketing will work together on a new program to increase hotel nights, golf course play and private club membership satisfaction for the two companies’ clients.

Preferred Hotel Group’s Preferred Golf division’s 68 golf resorts and 120 courses are now available to club members at clients of Private Club Marketing, which handles membership retention for private country clubs.

Both companies are in Newport Beach.

Preferred Golf wants more hotel and golf bookings and more corporate business, Private Club Marketing wants to make its clubs’ memberships more valuable to new and current members, and both will share revenues on the new partnership, the two companies said.

“Their portfolio of golf properties is consistent with the membership of the clubs we work with,” said Zack Bates, Private Club Marketing’s chief executive.

Preferred Golf books about 3,600 room nights and $2 million in reservation revenue a year, the company said.

Preferred Hotel Group offers sales and marketing services to 677 independent hotels and resorts.

Private Club Marketing serves 96 high-end country clubs.
