Visit Anaheim is working with local hotels to provide discounted accommodations for those displaced by the Trabuco Canyon Fire in Orange County, which has forced the evacuation of nearly 1,500 families.
Nearly 20 hotels in Anaheim and Garden Grove are offering accommodation assistance as part of the community initiative known as OC Fire Relief Offers.
The Hilton Anaheim, JW Marriott, Great Wolf Lodge, Clementine Hotel & Suites Anaheim and more are participating. The full list can be found on Visit Anaheim’s website.
The marketing organization, which is responsible for booking events and promoting tourism for the city’s collection of restaurants, hotels and other businesses, has been rounding up resources since Wednesday.
As of Friday, the fire has spread across 23,494 acres and continues at 8% containment, according to updates from County of Orange.
