Disneyland Delays Reopening

Anaheim’s Disneyland Resort has delayed its proposed reopening date of July 17 after a rise in coronavirus cases prompted the state to push back reopening guidelines for theme parks.

“Given the time required for us to bring thousands of cast members back to work and restart our business, we have no choice but to delay the reopening of our theme parks and resort hotels until we receive approval from government officials,” the resort said in a statement.

A new reopening date has not yet been set for the park, which has been shuttered since March 14.
