The Business Journal is seeking submissions for consideration on our fifth annual list of fast-growing privately held companies.
The list seeks to identify private companies that have seen their yearly sales grow rapidly from mid-2009 to mid-2011.
We expect many companies to qualify for this year’s list because it will look at sales gains in the recent 12-month period. That’s likely to show increases for many companies in part because of improvements in the economy.
We’re looking for Orange Coun-ty-based companies owned by an individual, a group of people, families, private equity firms, venture capitalists or other investors.
Publicly traded companies and subsidiaries won’t be considered. Nor will locally owned offices of national services firms.
To qualify, companies must have minimum sales of $300,000 for the 12 months ended June 2009 and growth through the 12 months ended June 2011.
Companies ranked among the fast-growing in Orange County will appear on the list in our Oct. 3 issue and our annual Book of Lists.
The Business Journal has an online form for companies to fill out for consideration.
