Veritone, which uses artificial intelligence to analyze audio, video and text data, has told federal regulators it plans to cut at least 25% of its workforce as part of a restructuring plan (Nasdaq: VERI).
The Irvine-based company’s most recently published figures show a headcount of 444 employees as of July 2025. The reductions will be based on the March 31 employee number, which was not specified in today’s filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. .
Veritone shares closed down 1.2% at $1.59 apiece for a market cap of $148 million.
