Super73 Launches E-Bikes with New Battery Technology

Marks the brand’s first time using secondary modular batteries

Super73 launched a new line of electric motorbikes on March 19, the company’s first line of new bikes launched since 2020.

The manufacturer, currently headquartered in San Clemente, said each e-bike has been redesigned from the frame to the technology compared to earlier models. The new collection dubbed the A-Series is the first time Super73 has incorporated secondary modular battery technology in the vehicles, meaning the bikes can have two batteries instead of one.

The e-bike brand also introduced two new seat heights of 30 and 33 inches.

“As SUPER73 approaches ten years of innovation, this next evolution reasserts our brand as the true original in electric mobility,” Chief Executive Travis Erwin said in a statement.

Erwin was named CEO last October, taking over the top spot from co-founders Michael Cannavo and Aaron Wong. Returning to his chief marketing role, Cannavo said the A-Series collection is “a reflection” of customer comments, and complaints, from the past few years.

The company plans to relocate to a new Irvine office later this year.
