Midday Stock Roundup

The S&P; 500 was up nearly 0.1% to 4,461.07 in Monday midday trading.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.6% to 34,806.37, while the Nasdaq dipped 0.1% to 15,100.73.

Crude oil jumped 1% to $70.41. 

Gold increased 0.2% to $1,795.40.

The yield on a 10-year Treasury was down 1% to 1.328%.

TECHNOLOGY

Viant Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: DSP) fell 9.8% to $12.38 for a market cap of $748.4 million. Shares in the Irvine ad tech company hit a new 52-week low of $12.30 earlier Monday, and are down nearly 75% since the start of the year.

RESTAURANTS

Lake Forest-based Del Taco Restaurants, Inc. (Nasdaq: TACO) rose 2.5% to $8.71 and a $317 million market cap. The company announced Monday that it has signed a franchise deal to open 10 new units in Virginia, marking the first entry into the state for the Mexican quick service restaurant. Shares are up about 6% in the past month.
