The S&P 500 increased 0.1% to 4,187.33 in Thursday midday trading.
The Nasdaq fell 0.4% to 13,993.52 while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.1% to 33,850.93.
Crude oil ticked 1% higher to $64.50 a barrel.
Gold decreased 0.4% to $1,767.20.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury rose 2% to 1.65%.
CLEAN TECH
Newport Beach-based Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (Nasdaq: CLNE) fell 4.1% to $11.26 and a $2.2 billion market cap. Shares of Clean Energy, OC’s largest public clean tech firm, have risen fivefold from around $2.50 since Joe Biden won the presidency.
RESTAURANTS
Huntington Beach-based BJ’s Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: BJRI) rose 4% to $60.78 and a $1.4 billion market cap. Shares have tripled since a year ago.
The S&P 600 Restaurants Index rose 3.2% to 2,552.13.
