The Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.5% to 30,083.34, while the Nasdaq was up 0.4% to 12,516.53.
Crude oil increased 0.3% to $46.38.
The price of gold rose 1.6% to $1,869.60.
The yield on a 10-year Treasury fell 3.9% to 0.931%.
TECHNOLOGY
Veritone Inc. (Nasdaq: VERI) continued last week’s gains on Monday with shares up 18% to $32.18 and a $906 million market cap. The Costa Mesa-based company said on Thursday that it priced its stock offering at $18.50 per share. REAL ESTATE
Impac Mortgage Holdings Inc. (NYSE: IMH) jumped 11% to $2.69 and a $63 million market cap. Shares for the Irvine-based mortgage originator, currently trading at nearly twice their average daily volume, are still off 80% since the start of the year.
