Computer networking products maker Lantronix Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX) said industry veteran Mathi Gurusamy was named chief strategy officer, effective May 13.
In his new role, Gurusamy will spearhead the company’s strategic planning and execution of growth opportunities, manage merger and acquisition activities, and drive go-to-market strategies that address key IoT technology trends to bolster Lantronix’s growth, the company said in a statement.
Shares in Irvine-based Lantronix closed up 0.5% at $3.78 apiece for a market cap of $142 million.
