A New York investment group has acquired Irvine tech accessories company Incipio LLC and its portfolio of brands and licenses.
Armor Acquisition LLC paid an undisclosed sum for Incipio, Incase, Survivor and Griffin, in addition to the licenses to make cell phone and AirPod cases, laptop sleeves and other tech accessories under the Kate Spade and Coach brands.
The brands now operate under the new entity Vinci Brands LLC.
Irvine swim and apparel brand Tavik had at one time been part of the Incipio Group after the accessories firm bought the label in 2012.
Brian Stech, who was named Incipio Group CEO in 2019, is now CEO of Vinci Brands.
