CVC Capital Partners is considering various options, including a possible sale, of its video game products maker Razer, which is dual-headquartered in Irvine and Singapore, Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Luxembourg-based CVC acquired the company less than a year ago in $3.2 billion deal.
Other options are also being considered and the talks are preliminary, Bloomberg said.
The triple-headed green snake trademark of Razer is among the more recognized logos in the gaming and esports communities.
The company counts a global fan base for its gamer-focused ecosystem of hardware, software and services.
