Anduril Protecting USMC Bases

Palmer Luckey’s surveillance startup Anduril Industries nabbed a $13.5 million contract to expand services on four U.S. Marine Corps bases.

In late July, the company also moved into new headquarters in Irvine near John Wayne Airport.

Luckey founded virtual reality headset maker Oculus, worked for Facebook after selling his company to the social media firm for about $3 billion, and later founded Anduril backed by venture capitalist Peter Thiel.

For more on the work at bases in the U.S. and overseas, see the Aug. 5 print edition of the Business Journal.
