WHY: Oversees 17 hospitals for Providence California, the not-for-profit health system serving the western U.S that employs more than 40K caregivers across the state and generated $9.6B in revenue in 2025. Named CEO four years ago and led the restructuring of the health system’s South Division into four service areas comprising Northern California, Los Angeles Valley, Los Angeles Coastal and Orange County/High Desert.
IN THE NEWS: $712M expansion of Providence Mission Hospital’s South Orange County operations is underway, including a 100-bed patient care tower that’s slated to open in 2030. Funded in part by a $50M gift from Anthony Moiso, chairman of Rancho Mission Viejo LLC. Providence has opened urgent care facilities in San Clemente and Rancho Mission Viejo to meet the growing demand for patient services.
