HFC’s work taps its OC home base in more ways than one.
Chief Financial Officer Thomas Hillebrandt served in various finance roles for former OC apparel maker Wet Seal from September 2013 to April 2016 before joining HFC.
Chief Marketing Officer Gayle Milling, who joined the company in March, served in the same role at weight-loss chain Lindora Medical Clinics Inc. in Costa Mesa and was global vice president for e-commerce and digital with apparel and sunglasses maker Oakley Inc. in Foothill Ranch.
An HFC director, Joseph Stein, was a senior executive for nine years at El Pollo Loco in Costa Mesa and chief financial officer at CKE Restaurants Inc. in the mid-1990s. He’s on the board of Del Taco Restaurants Inc. in Lake Forest and is president of R&J Restaurants LLC in Laguna Niguel, a Blaze Pizza franchisee in the Inland Empire.
Other OC-based homecare franchisers include Closets by Design Inc. in Cypress, part of Home Organizers Inc. in Whittier, and Garage Experts International LLC in Anaheim.
Behzadi declined to say if HFC, which previously bought companies and is now backed by private equity, would buy other homecare franchises, but said the market is strong.
“The demand is there,” she said. “It feels good to get organized.”
