A crowd of about 150 turned out at the Pacific Club on June 19 to hear retired Air Force Col. Lee Ellis talk about the lessons he learned during his five years as a prisoner of war at the Hanoi Hilton in Vietnam—and how they apply to management and leadership in the business world. Ellis is a business consultant and author of several books, including his recently published Leading With Honor. The Audit Committee Roundtable of Orange County hosted the dinner, and Ellis gave the crowd insights on the lessons his book contains in 14 key principles of leadership, including the advice to “lean into your fears.”
