MDxHealth Study Backs Prostate Cancer Test

Part of collaboration with University of Oxford

MDxHealth SA, an Irvine-based maker of noninvasive prostate tests, today announced the publication of a study done in collaboration with the University of Oxford.

It marks the first peer-reviewed publication from the partnership, which was formed in 2023 to investigate the correlation between MDxHealth’s GPS test with cancer prostate progression following treatment for localized prostate cancer.

The data, published in European Urology Oncology, suggests that the test “can identify favorable tumor biology that traditional risk stratification alone would miss.”

Shares in MDxHealth were down 2% to 42 cents apiece and a $21.3 million market cap (Nasdaq: MDHX).
