Attorney James J. McDonald Jr. has been named Lawyer of the Year in Orange County in the “Employment Law-Management” category for the second year in a row. McDonald is the regional managing partner of Fisher & Phillips LLP’s Irvine branch and a partner in its Los Angeles branch. He’s also the author of “California Employment Law: An Employer’s Guide.”
The distinction comes from Best Lawyers 2016-17, a publication that touts itself as “the oldest and most highly-respected peer review guide to the legal profession worldwide.”
The Lawyer of the Year designation is a special honor, conferred on only one lawyer per region in each practice area.
