Crisp Imaging Buys Coastal Blue

Expands into South Orange County

Crisp Imaging Inc., a Costa Mesa-based printer with 22 locations on the West Coast, said it’s acquired Coastal Blue, a reprographics printing company established in San Juan Capistrano in 1984. Terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed.

Coastal Blue provides large- and small-format and color printing, scanning, and printer sales and service to a variety of businesses including construction, restaurant and retail clients. Coastal Blue owners Brent and Cheryl Button will help with the transition; the company will continue to operate out of its office in San Juan Capistrano.

“Coastal Blue has been a dominant player in the South Orange County market for the past 38 years,” Crisp Imaging founder and Chief Executive Gary Crisp said in a statement. “It’s a perfect fit for our company largely due to their location and Brent and Cheryl’s relentless focus on customer service.”

Founded in 2001, Crisp Imaging offers services such as reprographics, marketing materials and display graphics to corporate clients from Seattle to San Diego.
