Coolsys Expands in Mid-Atlantic Region

Buys 100-employee Lima Company

Brea-based CoolSys, a provider of refrigeration and HVAC services, has acquired Lima Company to expand in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Lima provides commercial and industrial HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing and energy services throughout Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey. Lima, founded in 1976, has almost 100 employees.

“A proven market leader, Lima Company and its management team have built a strong reputation by combining industry expertise and a client-focused approach,” Rick Frier, chairman and interim chief executive, said in a statement.

CoolSys has more than 3,000 employees nationwide and 45,000 customers throughout North America.
