Defense company Dzyne Technologies, which has major operations in Irvine, said it has appointed former acting U.S. Defense Secretary Christopher C. Miller as the company’s interim chief revenue officer.
“His deep experience in the intelligence and defense communities, as well as his proven track record of success in growing and leading high-performing teams, will be invaluable as we continue to scale our business at home and abroad,” Dzyne CEO Thomas Strat said in a statement today announcing Miller’s appointment.
Virginia-headquartered Dzyne is a technology firm focused on designing and manufacturing a broad range of cutting-edge drones for the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies.
Miller served as the acting Secretary of Defense, from Nov. 9, 2020, until Jan. 20, 2021.
