Huntington Beach-based Grupo Gallegos created a new management post to be shared between an in-house executive and a new hire, effective July 18.
The independent agency hired Dave Damman as chief creative officer and co-president. His latest assignment was with Commonwealth IPG as interim global executive creative director overseeing the Chevrolet business. He previously worked as chief creative officer and managing partner at Carmichael Lynch in Minneapolis.
Grupo Gallegos Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer Andrew Delbridge will add the title of co-president and work “with Damman to shape and run the agency’s growth and operations, as well as its creative output.”
Founder John Gallegos, who retains the chief executive title, said, “Dave and Andrew’s proven track record in both the creative and strategy sides of the business will help us be fearless and focused as our client relationships and assignments continue to evolve.”
The agency’s roster of clients includes Comcast, the California Milk Processor Board, Hass Avocado Board, TurboTax and Foster Farms.
