Costa Mesa-based Z Supply announced Wednesday the retailer has raised $250,000 through its philanthropy group, the Z Supply Foundation, which launched last year.

The funds were raised from collective online sales of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Giving Tuesday.

Z Supply created three college scholarship gifts to distribute to Otis College of Art and Design, California College of the Arts, and California State University, Long Beach – College of the Arts.

The company’s charitable organization is focused on providing education opportunities as each college will receive a $50,000 pledge from Z Supply and create its own specific scholarships for the academic year.

“We gave our customers the opportunity to support these students’ college education alongside us. The money we raised will have a true impact on students in the fashion design, art and marketing fields,” President Mandy Fry said in a statement.

Another fundraising initiative is currently in the works at the Z Supply Foundation for its 2022 efforts.
