Irvine-based Vizio Holding Corp. said it added TikTok to its Smart TVs.
Users will be able to access a version of the short-form video app fitted for TV home-viewing. Vizio’s Smart TV homepage will also feature trending TikTok genres in a dedicated carousel, the media company and flat-screen TV and soundbar maker said.
“TikTok is a cultural phenomenon redefining the meaning of entertainment, music, and video alike. Extending this unique app off the mobile phone and onto the biggest screen in the home is an important evolution of the VIZIO TV experience,” Vizio Vice President of Business Development Katherine Pond said in a statement.
