The Park Club California, a new members-only group replacing the shuttered Center Club in Costa Mesa, has announced it will open in December.
It is the second new members club to open in Orange County this year, following The Elwood Club at Pendry Newport Beach.
Owner and operator BNG Hospitality is investing $6.5 million in renovating the venue, located at the Center Tower office building near South Coast Plaza. It will have eight distinct spaces inside, including the Monet Restaurant, Palm Bar, meeting rooms and more designed by Venice-based firm Studio Collective.
The Park Club aims to be one of the top exclusive spaces for networking outside the office, with upgraded meeting rooms, redesigned outdoor terraces and expanded ballrooms “catering to all different levels of luxury,” officials said.
Members of The Park Club’s board of governors hail from organizations like Pacific Symphony, Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA), law firms and real estate groups.
Initiation fees range from $5,000 to $6,000 for invited executives and corporate groups.
