Goodwill of Orange County Appoints Jesse Allen as COO

Previous officer Corrine Allen retires after 26-year tenure

Goodwill of Orange County has appointed Jesse Allen as the nonprofit’s new chief operating officer of its retail division, effective April 1.

Allen succeeds Corrine Allen, who is retiring after 26 years at the Santa Ana-based organization. He will manage the donation goods retail operation across 30 Goodwill retail stores and donation sites in OC.

Previously, Jesse Allen was chief administrative officer and chief real estate officer at 99 Cents Only Stores.

“Jesse’s leadership will help us drive revenue growth, enhance customer experiences, and further our mission of connecting people with transformative career opportunities,” Chief Executive Nicole Suydam said in a statement.

“I look forward to working, collaborating and pushing boundaries with the dedicated team at Goodwill OC to drive retail growth and further amplify our reach and impact,” Allen said.

Goodwill of Orange County reported $170.7 million in local revenue for 2024 and ranked as the third largest nonprofit in OC, according to Business Journal research.
