Big Blue Swim School will open a location at The Market Place in Tustin.
The lease marks the franchise’s second location in Orange County; its other swim school is in Huntington Beach.
The site is adjacent to the Santa Ana (5) Freeway, near the Market Place’s Nordstrom Rack and Total Wine & More. It’s expected to open early next year.
The Market Place, which straddles both Tustin and Irvine along Jamboree Road, is OC’s fifth largest shopping center by taxable sales, according to Business Journal data.
The Irvine Co., which owns the property, is considering adding housing to the Irvine side of the center.
