Hybrid Apparel Names CEO

Bill Hutchison has been named chief executive of Cypress-based Hybrid Apparel, effective Jan. 14.

He most recently served as president of Brooklyn Park, Minn.-based AM Retail Group Inc. where he helped grow revenue from $100 million to more than $500 million during his seven-year tenure.

Hybrid Board Director and Altamont Capital Partners Managing Director Keoni Schwartz said in a statement “Bill is the right person to lead the company.”

“We believe strongly that his leadership will propel us to new levels and will be transformational for Hybrid’s business,” Schwartz said.

The appointment comes four months after founder and chief executive Jarrod Dogan stepped away from his role. At the time, it promoted David Lederman from chief operating officer to president.

Hybrid Apparel has 750 employees and designs and markets branded, licensed and private-label apparel.
