Bruce Beach, chief executive and president of Depactus, stepped down from active duties at the San Clemente-based apparel company, “to focus on other pursuits.”
Craig Stevenson, a Depactus investor and licensee for the brand in the Asia-Pacific region, will take over from Beach. Stevenson worked at Quiksilver from 1992 until he left in 2013. His last role was global chief operating officer and brand president.
Luke Egan, who co-founded Depactus with Beach in 2013, will continue as chief brand officer and co-manager.
“Bruce and I have been lucky to be a part of two great brands (Arnette and Electric) since their inception and acquisition by strategic partners (B&L Eyewear-Luxottica and Volcom-Kering),” Egan said in a statement. “I wish Bruce luck with the next chapter of his career, it’s been a great ride over the years.”
Beach will retain his ownership interest in Depactus and sit on its advisory board.
