The Australian parent of Irvine-based Billabong USA announced a global chief operating officer who will be locally based.
The action-sports apparel maker and retailer said Jeff Streader will be based out of the company’s Irvine office. He reports directly to Billabong International Chief Executive Neil Fiske and joins the company after serving as operating partner at investment firm Marlin Equity, where he focused on retail, footwear and apparel.
Streader is a former senior vice president of supply chain at Los Angeles-based Guess? Inc.; president of corporate supply chain at Kellwood Company, whose West Coast headquarters is in City of Industry; and vice president of global sourcing at Greensboro, N.C.-based VF Corp., the parent of Vans Inc of Cypress.
