Advantage Solutions Inc. (Nasdaq: ADV) said it has invested and partnered with Eversight to test an artificial intelligence platform for product promotions.
The Irvine sales and marketing firm, which had a recent market cap of $3.1 billion, didn’t disclose the size of its investment. Advantage said the link with Palo Alto-based Eversight will accelerate brands’ ability to generate greater revenue using artificial intelligence to help with in-store promotions.
Eversight offers AI-backed tech that helps customers more accurately determine prices and promotions on products in stores. The company counts brands such as Kellogg’s, Walgreens, Neutrogena and Coca-Cola as customers.
The two companies will initially test Eversight’s Offer Innovation Suite technology platform with some retail and brand partners before a wider rollout next year.
