Willdan Group Inc. (Nasdaq: WLDN) got $17 million in contracts with Colorado school districts.
The Anaheim-based engineering firm said in a press release projects will “improve energy efficiency, upgrade aging infrastructure, and modernize the educational facilities.”
The deals are worth $17 million and the projects are to be done by next summer, in time for the 2019-2020 school year. Willdan reported revenue of $273 million and net income of $12 million in 2017.
Willdan shares are up 12% over the last two days on the deal.
