Foothill Ranch-based sunglasses and apparel maker Oakley Inc. opened a store and showroom on Fifth Avenue in New York.
The 6,800-square-foot store is Oakley’s third in Manhattan and takes up three floors.
The space also functions as a U.S. wholesale showroom for Oakley, the company’s first combination of retail and wholesale.
Oakley now has 163 stores in the U.S., along with another 242 in 19 other countries.
In other retail news, The Triangle in Costa Mesa is set to see Mexican restaurant and bar La Vida Cantina open in June in a rebrand of the former El Corazon restaurant.
La Vida Cantina follows the recent opening of Tavern+Bowl at The Traiangle. Tavern+Bowl offers a 10-lane bowling alley, restaurant and bar.
Meantime, a 1,783-square-foot Sperry Top-Sider and 880-square-foot Blaze Pizza will open at The Shops at Mission Viejo this summer.
