Nellson Nutraceutical LLC, a maker of nutrition bars and powders, has relocated its headquarters from Irwindale to Anaheim.
The company also plans to shift powder operations from Salt Lake City to Anaheim, bringing 225 new jobs that will be spread over research and development and production groups in a 300,000-square-foot facility.
Chief Executive Scott Greenwood said the moves consolidate a number of acquisitions that occurred within the last 14 months. Nellson, a portfolio company of New York-based private equity firm Kohlberg & Co., has been making nutrition products for about 50 years.
