Lynn Nguyen has been named manager of Wells Fargo & Co.’s Newport Beach office. Nguyen previously was manager in its Rancho Santa Margarita office and has been with the company for four years. She volunteers for the Second Harvest Food Bank and South County Outreach Program.
First Enterprise Bank named Michael Clinton vice president and relationship manager in its Irvine office. Clinton will be responsible for introducing and managing client relationships. He previously was a vice president and relationship manager at Pacific Mercantile Bank.
Charles Black has joined U.S. Bank Wealth Management Group, a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, in Newport Beach. He will be a managing director and senior portfolio manager. Black also is an active volunteer for several nonprofit and civic groups.
EDUCATION
Coast Community College District in Fountain Valley named Loretta Adrian president, beginning in July. Adrian currently is the vice president of student services at Skyline College in San Mateo. She also has worked as dean of student affairs and development at San Diego Mesa College.
ENGINEERING
Hall & Foreman Inc. in Irvine has named Thomas Cannon controller. Cannon will oversee the firm’s financial and accounting operations. He has more than 20 years of experience in the architecture and engineering industry.
HEALTHCARE
Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc. in Tustin promoted Catherine Wolfe to senior director of corporate and strategic communications. The company makes and services X-ray machines and medical imaging equipment. Wolfe has been with the company for more than 20 years.
Scott Mumby has been named executive vice president of Auxilio Inc. in Mission Viejo. Auxilio is a print services company for the healthcare industry. Mumby will be responsible for managing and growing in-hospital staff. He previously worked at Sealane Consulting LLC.
HOTELS
The Hotel Hanford in Costa Mesa hired a management and restaurant team to lead operations of the hotel. Edward Moses-Granger is general manager and will oversee daily operations including guest services, food and beverage sales and marketing. Jo Casper is director of sales and marketing. Casper’s responsibilities include attracting new meetings and events clients to the hotel. Michael Carpenter is executive chef of the hotel’s Savoy Restaurant and Lounge. Adam Weisblatt will work as restaurant manager.
LAW
Best Best & Krieger LLP has named Elizabeth Hull partner in its Irvine and San Diego offices. Hull is special counsel to the redevelopment agencies of several cities and is part of the firm’s municipal and redevelopment practice group. She has been with the company for three years.
Eric Fromme has joined Rutan & Tucker LLP in Costa Mesa as senior counsel in the firm’s trial, bankruptcy and financial practices group. Fromme is a federal-court litigator and corporate reorganization lawyer. He also is a lecturer on corporate and bankruptcy law and has served as president and board member of the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum.
NONPROFIT
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County has named Michael Higa vice president of fi-nance. Higa previously was controller for the nonprofit Insight for Living and accounting manager for the Church Development Fund Inc., an organization that provides funding to churches. He also has worked as an investment adviser for Morgan Stanley.
Tustin-based Miracles for Kids, an organization that helps children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses, has added Yuri Vanetik to its board. Vanetik also serves on the executive committee of the board for the American Red Cross and on the advisory board of University of California, Irvine’s Center for Unconventional Security Affairs.

Neeki Moatazedi has joined Surterre Properties Inc. in Newport Beach as a Realtor with the coastal properties team. Moatazedi previously worked in marketing for Merce-des-Benz and has six years of experience in real estate.
Irvine-based RealtyTrac Inc. hired Jesse Gant as vice president of product and user experience. Gant previously was director of product management and user experience at Ohio’s Teradata, a data software company.
