Exclusive Dana Point Home Sells for $11M

A 5,680-square-foot house with four bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms in Dana Point’s The Strand at Headlands neighborhood sold for nearly $11 million.

An undisclosed buyer snatched the house sitting on a 15,712-square-foot homesite at Monarch Beach on June 16.

Jeffrey Golden, an agent with Coldwell Banker Realty, represented the seller. The property was co-listed by Tim Smith, also of Coldwell Banker Realty.

Liana Norman of Coldwell Banker represented the buyer.

The California craftsman custom house was designed by architect Bob White, with Meridian Interiors overseeing the interior design.

The two-level house at 19 Seabreeze Lane in Dana Point was built in 2014 and is on the oceanside of Pacific Coast Highway (Highway 1).

Public records show the house last sold for $5.7 million in 2015. 19 Seabreeze Lane was listed for $12.8 million in December 2023 before selling for close to $11 million, or $1,934 per square foot, on June 16, a 14% discount.

Some of the house’s amenities include an ocean view, home office and an outdoor fire pit.
The property is near Dana Point Harbor, The Monarch Links Golf Course and Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort.

The $11 million sticker price would be the fifth-most expensive house sold within Dana Point this year, according to Homes.com. At least four houses sold for a higher price within the past six months: 51 Ritz Cove Drive for $13.8 million, 24366 Santa Clara Ave. for $15 million, 21 Strand Beach Drive for $28 million and 63 Monarch Bay Drive for $34 million.
