$11M for Home on Supersized Dana Point Lot

A 4,842-square-foot French Chateau-inspired house in Dana Point sold for about $11 million on Oct.1, according to Homes.com.

The house’s listing described 34312 Starboard Lantern in Dana Point as the “crown jewel of Lantern Bay Estates” and the only residence in the neighborhood sitting on 2.5 lots.

Tim Smith of Coldwell Banker Realty represented the seller, with Nicholas Hartman II as the buyer’s agent on behalf of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty.

34312 Starboard Lantern features an unobstructed 180-degree view of Dana Point Harbor.

The five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom house was on the market for 12 days and sold for $2,271 per square foot.

The property includes a primary residence of 3,948 square feet and an 893-square-foot pool house.

BoutiqueLuxuryLiving.com, a website showing high-end properties for sale in Southern California, described Dana Point’s Lantern Bay Estates as “one of the finest places to live for a unique lifestyle of ocean views, custom homes and amenities galore.”
