WHY: Took over as president of Chapman, OC’s largest private university with 10,000 students, in 2016.
IN THE NEWS: Chapman debuted the world’s first “community-operated” supercomputer on Sept. 23. The Fowler School of Engineering, which oversees the computer, plans to give students access to the technology in classrooms.
