IN THE NEWS: Planning to spend $712M over seven years to expand its operations in South OC, including new hospital and two new health centers. The first one opened in San Clemente in July with the second expected to open later this year in Rancho Mission Viejo. In March, received $50M, the largest-ever gift in the hospital foundation’s 33-year history, from Anthony “Tony” Moiso, chairman and CEO of Rancho Mission Viejo LLC. Gift will name Providence’s new 100-bed hospital tower the Rancho Mission Viejo Family Tower, which is expected to open in 2030.
