A new city center planned for Laguna Niguel has been given the green light from the City Council.
Burnham Ward Properties and Sares Regis Group, both based in Newport Beach, won unanimous approval to move forward with the mixed-use project, which will include 275 apartments, 175,000 square feet of commercial space, a new County of Orange library and a “town green” for community events.
The developers plan to break ground next year.
“We pushed the design to deliver a unique Napa Valley ‘esque experience that will prioritize food offerings and great spaces between the buildings—all in a vibrant mixed-use and dynamic live-work setting,” Burnham Ward Partner Bryon Ward said in a statement.
