Fewer Home Sales, Higher Prices Across OC

Home sales across Orange County neighborhoods fell 28% year-over-year in May, according to data from Irvine-based CoreLogic.

Of OC’s 83 ZIP codes, 47 neighborhoods had a median price above $1 million in May, nearly twice the amount from May 2021.

The countywide median in May was $1.05 million, up 21% over the year prior.

Just eight neighborhoods have a median home price at or below $750,000, while nine ZIP codes have median prices above $2 million, led by Corona del Mar, which counts a median home price of nearly $4.7 million. Home sales in CDM were down 38% in May.
