Xponential Fitness Inc. (NYSE: XPOF) pumped some money and heavy tech enhancements into its Irvine Go production studio, which now boasts features such as augmented reality and a new name: XStudio.
The Irvine-headquartered company spent more than $300,000 in upgrades to the studio, which is where it films fitness classes for its nearly 2-year-old streaming platform Go.
The Go program, weaves together Xponential’s portfolio of nine fitness brands.
The fitness franchisor’s portfolio consists of Club Pilates, Pure Barre, CycleBar, StretchLab, Row House, YogaSix, AKT, Rumble and Stride.
The studio enhancements include an LED augmented reality wall that allows for an experience akin to actually being in a studio for members using Go at home. The studio is also modular, meaning the stage can be changed out in some 25 minutes to the right studio setting for whatever workout brand is being filmed.
Go counts more than 2,500 recorded online workouts, in addition to live classes.
The fitness franchising company, which went public this summer counts a market cap of $575 million as of last week, has more than 1,850 studios in North America and continues to open new locations at a rapid clip through franchisees.Â
