Whole Foods Market, a unit of Amazon.com, has inked a new deal in Orange County, this time for a nearly 45,000-square-foot retail space in Huntington Beach.
The company’s lease starts at the beginning of next year at Beachmont Plaza, a shopping center on the northeast corner of Brookhurst Street and Adams Avenue, brokerage data indicates.
It’s the grocer’s second space in the city.
Whole Foods joins the center as it undergoes a redevelopment project for anchor tenants Sav-On, Ralphs, and Comerica Bank.
Sav-on’s 25,000-square-foot space is being remodeled, a new 55,000-square-foot Ralphs grocery store is under construction, and the rest of the center is new construction.
The property is situated on nearly 9 acres across from the Stater Bros. Markets, and is managed by Long Beach-based Western Realty Investments.
Beachmont Plaza, at 10061 Adams Ave., is also home to Ulta Beauty, which occupies 10,000 square feet.
